His novels follow the adventures of Jack Reacher. As a retired military police officer, Jack now spends his days wandering across the United States, solving mysterious crimes and taking down bad guys wherever he goes.

The Jack Reacher series spans more than three decades, and Child is still churning out action-packed novels about this American hero to this day.
