- Basic Mount Everest Badge: Complete an audiobook that is at least 24 hours long
- Silver Mount Everest Badge: Complete an audiobook that is at least 30 hours long
- Gold Mount Everest Badge: Complete an audiobook that is at least 60 hours long
2. Stenographer
The Stenographer badge is based on bookmarks, so the more bookmarks you place in audiobooks, the more you’ll achieve.
- Basic Stenographer Badge: Use 10 bookmarks
- Silver Stenographer Badge: Use 40 bookmarks
- Gold Stenographer Badge: Use 125 bookmarks
3. Social Butterfly
As the name suggests, the Social Butterfly badge is all about how social you are with your audiobooks. The more times you share your Audible content on social media, the higher the level you’ll achieve.
- Basic Social Butterfly Badge: Share to social media 5 times
- Silver Social Butterfly Badge: Share on social media 25 times
- Gold Social Butterfly Badge: Share on social media 100 times
4. Repeat Listener
The Repeat Listener Badge is rewarded when you listen to the same audiobook multiple times.
- Basic Repeat Listener Badge: Listen to the same audiobook at least 3 times
- Silver Repeat Listener Badge: Listen to the same audiobook at least 10 times
- Gold Repeat Listener Badge: Listen to the same audiobook at least 20 times
5. 7-day Stretch
The 7-Day Stretch Badge counts your daily audiobook completion streak, starting at a minimum of books completed per day for 7 days.
- Basic 7-Day Stretch Badge: Complete 7 books in 7 days
- Silver 7-Day Stretch Badge: Complete 15 books in 7 days
- Gold 7-Day Stretch Badge: Complete 50 books in 7 days
6. Night Owl
The Night Owl badge is awarded to those who love to listen to their audiobooks after dark (between 12 AM and 5 AM).
- Basic Night Owl Badge: Listen for at least 4 hours during nighttime
- Silver Night Owl Badge: Listen for at least 6 hours during nighttime
- Gold Night Owl Badge: Listen for at least 8 hours during nighttime
7. Watchtower
The Watchtower badge is awarded for how often you check your stats and profile on the app.
- Basic Watchtower Badge: Check your stats 50 times
- Silver Watchtower Badge: Check your stats 200 times
- Gold Watchtower Badge: Check your stats 500 times
8. Weekend Warrior
If you get most of your audiobook listening done on the weekends, then this is the badge for you.
- Basic Weekend Warrior Badge: Listen for a minimum of 5 hours in one weekend
- Silver Weekend Warrior Badge: Listen for a minimum of 10 hours in one weekend
- Gold Weekend Warrior Badge: Listen for a minimum of 24 hours in one weekend
9. Daily Dipper
To earn the Daily Dipper Badge, consistency is key. Miss a day, and you’re right back to square one.
- Basic Daily Dipper Badge: Listen every day for at least 7 days
- Silver Daily Dipper Badge: Listen every day for at least 30 days
- Gold Daily Dipper Badge: Listen every day for at least 90 days
10. High Noon
If you’re a lunchtime listener, then High Noon is a pretty achievable badge (listening between 11 AM and 3 PM).
- Basic High Noon Badge: Listen for at least 2 hours during lunchtime
- Silver High Noon Badge: Listen for at least 3 hours during lunchtime
- Gold High Noon Badge: Listen for at least 4 hours during lunchtime
11. Marathoner
The Marathoner Badge is much harder to achieve. You’ll have to listen to audiobooks for extended periods straight (no sleeping allowed!).
- Basic Marathoner Badge: Listen for at least 16 hours straight
- Silver Marathoner Badge: Listen for at least 18 hours straight
- Gold Marathoner Badge: Listen for at least 24 hours straight
12. The Stack
The Stack Badge is all about your personal audiobook library. The more books you collect, the more you can achieve.
- Basic Stack Badge: Have at least 50 books in your library
- Silver Stack Badge: Have at least 200 books in your library
- Gold Stack Badge: Have at least 500 books in your library
13. The Closer
The Closer Badge encourages you to finish audiobooks in single sessions. This badge rewards dedication to completing books without taking breaks.
- Basic Closer Badge: Complete 1 book start to finish in a single session
- Silver Closer Badge: Complete 5 books start to finish in single sessions
- Gold Closer Badge: Complete 10 books start to finish in single sessions
14. Dabbler
NEW FOR 2025: The Dabbler Badge has been updated and is now focused on exploring different genres rather than just listening to different titles. This encourages listeners to diversify their audiobook experience.
- Basic Dabbler Badge: Listen to books from at least 3 different genres
- Silver Dabbler Badge: Listen to books from at least 7 different genres
- Gold Dabbler Badge: Listen to books from at least 11 different genres
15. Nibbler

I was looking at my badges todsy for the first time in probably a year.
Did they get rid of the basic, silver, and gold designs? Mine all appear to be blue and orange.

You’re right to notice a shift. Audible hasn’t made a formal announcement, but it looks like many of the older badge tiers (like silver, gold, etc.) aren’t visually distinct anymore. A lot of folks are now seeing just the blue/orange variants — possibly part of a design refresh or simplification on their end.
From what we’ve observed (and from readers like you!), the legacy badges might still exist in the backend, but newer ones seem to lean toward a flatter, color-consistent style. It’s less about the tiered appearance now, and more about the badge type — like ‘Weekend Warrior’ or ‘Repeat Listener’ — rather than its “level.”

This is possibly the most up-to-date and easy to read badge FAQ I’ve found, but there have been some changes since it was published. Each level has been upgraded so that the diamond level is gone. Now there’s basic, silver, and gold. There are three new badges (Alexa, Collector, and Sampler), and at least one (Dabbler) has changed to be about listening to different genres. I have the gold and it says it’s for listening to at least 11 different genres.

I have 605 books in my Audible Library and still don’t have the Diamond Stack Badge…. Any idea why? Or how to get credited for it?
