Liesl and Po by Lauren Oliver is a wonderfully written middle grade novel. I’m always looking for books to add to my school library and this is definitely one that makes the list. With intriguing characters, adventure, and a wonderful storyline.
There is so much action and adventure in Airborne, it will definitely leave you wanting to know more about the world Shaper has created. Grounded comes out in September so you don’t have too long to wait!
The ending of this book KILLED me. I did not expect it to end the way it did and if there is not another one I’m gonna be one pissed off chick. I need to know what happens after that ending.
Overall, Juniper Berry is a great middle grade read for students who like a little bit of horror mixed in their readings. They might never look at red balloons the same way again!

Overall, I enjoyed this book very much. It was a fun read and had a unique story line behind it. I also liked the ending that knowing that Gwen isn’t what she seems – you definitely need to read it to find out what!
Behind the Gates is directed to a younger audience but even adults like me had fun, had a fast read and thoroughly looking forward to the next series.
