So, India does something that creates chaos. She makes a statement to a journalist that it’s a bad movie. It leads her into a media storm. Paparazzi, the press, and everyone line up to accuse her due to this.

She has a good bond with her brother, so when he left to serve in the Vietnam War, she followed him by joining the Army Nurse Corps. To prove she can also be the hero and make her family proud. 

But she wasn’t aware of the destruction that war brings and the aftermath of the situation. After facing enormous challenges during the war, she comes back only to see the disappointment in her parent’s eyes and the rage of others toward her and other veterans. 

It’s a story that narrates the contributions of women in a war and how their sacrifices were simply forgotten.

Rumour flows that it’s a suicide, but Meg finds it hard to believe it is the truth. So, she decides to investigate the matter herself by entering the facility as a patient. 

Away from her close ones, she must fight this battle alone to discover the truth about her sister’s death.
